Date: Sunday 6th August

Time: Tournament timings to be confirmed, however, we are expecting Kick Off to begin at approximately 11am.

Venue: Secret Beach Bar & Kitchen, Mumbles Rd, Brynmill, Swansea SA2 0AY

Age category: 2022 – 2023 season of Under 7’s and Under 8’s. Both boys and girls are allowed to play for the same team. Unfortunately, on this occasion there will not be time to create a separate Boys and Girls tournament.

Clothing: The beach football tournament will be played on soft sand with a regulated beach football. No football boots are to be worn whilst playing in the tournament, players can play either bare foot or in their socks. Each team must wear their own football kit for the club that they are playing with. Goal keepers to supply their own gloves.

Teams: Because we only have 8 spaces available per age category, we will initially ask that all clubs enter only enter 1 team per age category. Please let us know if you would like to enter an additional team, and if at a later stage there are spaces available, we will let you know.

Rules: 5 aside football, with 1 of the players in goals. The games will last 7 minutes each, and each team will play 7 games in a round robin style tournament. Further playing rules will be sent to coaches prior to the tournament.

Payment: The cost to enter a team into the tournament is £30. Upon confirmation of your registration, if there is a space available, we will send you the payment link to make full payment.

Medal Presentation: The medal presentation will commence after the mini adult’s match, and we ask that all players remain until they have received their medals on stage.

Adults Match: Before the medal presentation, there will be a mini adults match for everyone to enjoy. Players confirmed so far is Rugby legend Shane Williams and Swan’s legend Lee Trundle. More players will be revealed soon, and these players will help with the medal presentation for the children.
