The Cardiff Half Marathon takes place on Sunday the 6th October 2024.

The Cardiff Half is Wales’ largest mass participation and multi-charity fundraising event. It is one of the largest running events in Europe! Founded in 2003, when just 1,500 runners took part, the race now attracts 27,500 sign-ups annually. The event has unbeatable event experience, with tens of thousands of spectators lining the route, multiple course entertainment points (with live music and performers) and an incredible atmosphere. The race boasts a flat, fast course – perfect for first timers. The course passes all of the city’s most breathtaking scenery and iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium and stunning Cardiff Bay.

We have limited charity spaces for this event, but if you are interested in running and fundraise on behalf of Joseph’s Smile, please fill in the enquiry form on this page. We are delighted to offer FREE entry but with a pledge to raise a minimum of £250.

Once the registration has been completed and you have achieved your target pledge, we will then provide you with a Joseph’s Smile sports running vest or a sports T-shirt. We will also help and guide you to set up a fundraising page via Joseph’s Smile platform and support you with any tips and guidance when completing a fundraising campaign.
